Naomi is growing too fast!

It’s pretty amazing to notice the difference in development and behavior from when she was younger. Not that long ago, we used to be able to go out to a restaurant and just lay her down in a booth. Now she wants to be a part of everything. She wants to see everything, eat everything, touch everything. She’s able to sit in high chair now which is nice, so we don’t have to carry around her gumbo anymore which actually worked out nice for us for a little bit.

Back on June 18-30 we were in Fiji and Sydney with Naomi. Then Recently 2 weeks ago July 16-22 we were in OK to visit the Majors. It was great visiting there being my first time. It’s really pretty there. And I thoroughly enjoyed visiting with grandma and staying at her beautiful house in Bowlegs. What a complete different way of life. It was relaxing there and a great contrast to our city/beach living life. I loved it and so did Naomi. It’ll be so much fun for her to run around grandma’s yard in the years to come.

At 7 months, Naomi is standing herself up, and cruising around furniture. She’s so proud of herself when she does it too. She smiles her scrunched up smile at you and makes a sound like “look at me!” It’s truly cute.

My baby is growing so fast it does make me rather sad. And it’s bitter sweet knowing she won’t be my only baby for long. Naomi will be a big sister come Feb. It’s all a bit nerve wrecking and seems exhausting just thinking about doing it all over again. But I can’t wait for Naomi to have a sibling right about her age. Someone she can always and hopefully be close to .. best friends.

We’re in the beginning phases of looking into the housing market… so far just looking. And the prices are outrageously expensive for El Segundo, Manhattan Beach area.. its a bit depressing really… and there really is much out there.
